ESSENTIAL MINISTRIES
Essential ministries are the fundamental ministries that form the core of what we do. These are not the only ministries of the church, but they are the priority ministries.
These essential ministries are our way of “keeping the main thing the main thing." Our aim is to ensure that these ministries have the leadership, plans and resources required to accomplish their objectives. These essential ministries are simply a reflection of our values and commitment to current and future generations (2 Timothy 2:2). As these ministries are healthy and vibrant, countless other ministries are birthed, led, and resourced from the body, because we believe that changed lives change lives.
Worship
Our weekly worship celebrations provide the opportunity for us to corporately present ourselves to God, study His Word, apply truth, and respond in ways that show His greatness. In addition, as we gather for weekly worship, we are able to regularly participate in the ordinances of baptism and communion, as well as experience those elements of corporate worship that reinforce and affirm our commitments to each other as a family of faith.

Home Groups
The Church family meets throughout the school calendar year (September – May) in small groups, also called “Home Groups.” It is our belief that God wants us to be in a relationship with Him and each other. This relationship building is best achieved in an intimate setting and within the context of authentic community.
Home Group typically consists of 10-14 members who are encouraged to participate in a journey of faith, and to meet the needs of others through acts of sacrificial service.
We believe at the heart of real community are three elements:
Caring Relationships
We all need a place where we can get to know others and be known by others – a place where other people matter to us and we matter to them.
Biblical Truth
The Bible has much to say about healthy relationships and right living. The truths of Scripture guide us as we learn to live together in authentic community.
Spiritual Accountability
The application of truth in our lives occurs best in a context of encouragement, affirmation, and accountability to others.
Our Home Groups provide an environment of genuine connection and common experience that remind us that we are not alone, but rather, we navigate this walk of faith together.

Children’s Ministry (Infant through 5th grade)
Children’s ministries exist to assist families in laying a spiritual foundation that guides children into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and equips them for a lifetime of spiritual growth.
Teachers provide a safe and loving environment and communicate God’s word in an exciting manner making it an awesome adventure for every child. Meetings include special themed activities, puppets, and “hands on” curriculum to engage children with truth.

Youth Ministry (6th through 12th grade)
At Faith Alliance, our youth ministry to 6th through 12th grade is relational, engaging, interactive and biblically relevant. As students mature in their relationship with Christ, they are encouraged to live out their faith, get involved in ministry, and share their faith with others.
Building upon foundational skills taught in our Children’s ministry, the Youth Ministry helps Jr. and Sr. High students feel welcomed and loved, while connecting with others on an adventure of faith. |
